Woman Hit By a Train South Austin

A woman in her 30s was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

A woman was hit by a train in South Austin on Sunday night, according to the Austin Travis County EMS.

The incident happened around 9:38 p.m. when a call came in from Union Pacific that someone was hit near West William Cannon Drive and Woodhue Drive.

She was described as in her 30s and taken to University Medical Center Brackenridge with serious injuries.
