Community Health & Wellness Fair Hosted by Humana

Humana invites the community to attend a free Health & Wellness Fair on Thursday, Aug. 30, 2018, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Humana office located at 201 Cypresswood Drive in Spring, Texas.

The Health & Wellness Fair will include free body mass index (BMI) assessments and blood pressure readings with an on-site nurse, activity demonstrations by SilverSneakers Fitness Program, Medicare information from Humana representatives, and light refreshments.

Flu shots will also be available. The flu shot is free if it is fully covered by your insurance, no cash customers will be taken. Humana members must bring their Humana member ID while non-members must bring their insurance card and a claim will be filed with your insurance plan.

Humana members can receive several take-home test kits, including blood sugar, diabetes nephropathy care, and colorectal cancer tests.

Humana is hosting this event to encourage older adults in the community to ‘know their numbers.’ These numbers or measurements are general indicators of your health and are helpful to know if you should talk to your doctor.
