Spring Native, A&M Star Spiller Declares For NFL Draft
The former Klein Collins standout, rated highly by several NFL Draft experts, announced Tuesday he would forgo his senior year at Texas A&M.

SPRING, TX β Spring native Isaiah Spiller announced on his Twitter account Tuesday he would forgo his senior season at Texas A&M and enter the 2022 NFL Draft.
Spiller, who was a standout running back at Klein Collins High School from 2016-'18, was a focal point in the Aggies' offense the past three seasons, rushing for 2,993 yards and 25 touchdowns on 541 carries.
In his announcement, Spiller thanked God, his parents and family, teammates and coaches, singling out running backs coach Tommie Robinson and head coach Jimbo Fisher, before addressing the Aggie faithful.

"Thank you to the 12th Man," Spiller said. "You are the best fans in the nation, and the atmosphere and energy you bring to every game is second to none. You've embraced me and my family, therefore we are forever grateful. It has been an honor to take the field and represent you."

ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. has Spiller as his third-ranked running back in the 2022 draft.

Spiller is the top-ranked running back in the draft, and 39th overall in CBS Sports' draft rankings, and The Draft Scout's Matt Miller tweeted he "could very well be the first back drafted," calling him a Top 50 player.

Spiller was named District 15-6A Offensive MVP his junior and senior seasons at Klein Collins, where he rushed for 3,322 yards and 51 touchdowns and added 460 yards and four touchdowns receiving in three seasons, according to 247Sports.com.
