Spring Robbery Caught On Tesla Y Model Sentry Mode Cam
A robbery at a Walmart in Spring in late September was caught on camera from the driver's Tesla. One of the suspects has been arrested.
SPRING, TX — Footage recorded by a Tesla Model Y showed a woman being robbed at gunpoint in a Walmart parking lot in Spring.
The robbery occurred Sept. 23 and was captured on video by the Tesla's Sentry Mode cameras. The video, posted by the YouTube account Wham Baam Dangercam, shows a man approach the woman at gunpoint before he grabs her purse and gets into a white sedan, which drives away.
The same getaway car, a white Lexus ES350, was used in a Texaco gas station robbery on Rayford Road in the early hours of Sept. 24, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office.

One of the two suspects was arrested Sept. 26 after a robbery of a Murphy gas station on College Park Drive in The Woodlands. The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office arrested a 15-year-old boy after a car chase into Houston, and the other suspect is still at large, according to authorities.
