SWAT Standoff In Spring Ends Peacefully: Montgomery Co. Sheriff

A 51-year-old woman bit another woman and pulled out a gun after an argument between four people. She was arrested and charged with assault.

SPRING, TX β€” A 51-year-old woman bit another woman and pulled out a gun during an argument between four people at a home in Spring early Thursday before SWAT personnel from the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office peacefully brought her into custody.

Racheal Mouton is charged with misdemeanor assault with bodily injury and felony assault with a deadly weapon, according to authorities.

Mouton was involved in an argument with three other people in the house, located on Augusta View Drive, when she bit one of them, a 48-year-old woman. She then pulled out a gun and pointed it at the other woman and the homeowner, a 51-year-old man. The two victims, along with a 24-year-old woman, were able to flee the house without injury, police said.

A Montgomery County SWAT unit and crisis negotiation team were called in to assist in resolving the situation and arrested Mouton without incident, according to the Sheriff's Office.
