Teen Killed In Spring Shooting: Montgomery County Sheriff

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is investigating after the 19-year-old died in a hospital.

SPRING, TX β€” A 19-year-old man was killed in a shooting Sunday night in an apartment in Spring, police said.

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office deputies found Elijah Brown with a gunshot wound at the Woodland Meadows apartment complex located on Budde Road while investigating a report of shots fired at around 9 p.m. Sunday, according to authorities.

Brown was taken to a hospital, where he later died of his injuries.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's homicide and violent crimes unit is investigating the shooting and requests anyone with information about Brown or the shooting 936-760-5800.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of the victim," the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office said in a news release.
