Video from a user on Twitter showed a funnel cloud forming near the school as severe thunderstorms moved through Spring on Wednesday morning
SPRING, TX β A tornado was spotted near Grand Oaks High School on Wednesday morning as severe thunderstorms moved through the Spring area.
A Twitter user captured video of a funnel cloud forming near the school. The video shows the cloud forming a short distance from an entrance to the school with students watching outside and through the door window. There is mild language in the video.
A north Houston home suffered damage when high winds caused a tree to fall on the roof. Harris County authorities evacuated the resident and her pets out of the home, and no injuries were reported, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
