U.S. Rep Shelia Jackson Lee Hosts Prom Dress Giveaway On Saturday

HOUSTON –– Spring ISD senior students will have the opportunity to take home a prom dress this Saturday, April 27, thanks to a special event being hosted by Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee and Carla Lane of The Women’s Work.

The Prom Dress Drive and Giveaway event is being held at Westfield High School from 10 a.m. to noon. Attendees, who must bring their student ID to be eligible, will be able to select a new dress from a variety of styles and colors, donated by Macy’s.

This is a collaborative with Congresswoman Jackson-Lee in order to support Spring ISD seniors who are still in need of prom dresses. Students will also be able to receive items such as jewelry, formal shoes and gift cards for personal items.
