SUV Plunges Off Grand Parkway Bridge Near New Territory
Four people were injured when their SUV plunged off the Grand Parkway near the Brazos River and crashed on an embankment, police said.

SUGAR LAND, TX —Northbound lanes of the Grand Parkway were closed Monday afternoon after an SUV with four people inside flipped off the bridge near New Territory and plunged about 200 feet and crashed onto an embankment.
The crash happened at about 12:30 p.m.near the Brazos River. Police said the Toyota SUV was traveling north on the Grande Parkway when it hit a guardrail and went over the side of the bridge.
The four people inside the SUV suffered only minor injuries and were taken to an area hospital for treatment.
Police blocked the northbound lanes of the Grand Parkway near the Brazos River while they conducted their investigation.
