Spring ISD Board Of Trustees Hold A Work Session Meeting

SPRING, TX -- The Spring Independent School District Board of Trustees will meet in a work session at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9 at the Gordon M. Anderson Leadership Center, 16717 Ella Blvd. The agenda will include a review of items that will be presented to the board for approval at the regular board meeting scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14.

Several presentations of note include: a demographic review, an annual report of the district’s educational performance and the Texas Academic Performance Report, a bond timeline update, proposed attendance boundary scenarios for community input, 2016-17 employee engagement survey results, a transportation pay increase and incentive proposal, and continued discussion of the preliminary 2017-18 budget. In addition, the board will hear a presentation on becoming a District of Innovation, including a resolution to explore and initiate the process. See Full Agenda.
