Fireworks Sales And Use Outlawed In The Woodlands
Anyone who is caught with fireworks can expect a knock on their door from members of The Woodlands Fire Department.
THE WOODLANDS, TX β Independence Day happens next week and officials in The Woodlands Township are reminding residents that fireworks are not allowed. The Townshipβs convenant rules prohibit the sale and the use of fireworks and sparklers in The Woodlands.
The official kick off of fireworks sales began in the Houston area, where fireworks are allowed outside of Houston and other cities.
Officials in Harris County cautioned residents to use extreme care, to avoid injury to themselves and their loved ones.

However, in The Woodlands anyone who is caught with fireworks can expect a knock on their door.
Officials said members of The Woodlands Fire Department will respond to fireworks complaints when they are not dispatched on an emergency call.

Residents can report the sale or use of fireworks by calling The Woodlands Fire Department non-emergency line at 281-362-3900 and informing the dispatcher of the activity and location.
To help celebrate Independence Day, there will be five locations in The Woodlands to view a spectacular, professional fireworks display on the Fourth of July, including Town Green Park, Waterway Square Park, Northshore Park, Hughes Landing and Rob Fleming Park.
