Man Arrested In Violent Purse Snatching At Woodlands Mall: Police
Troy Damian Haynes, 28, is accused of stealing a woman's purse in a violent attack that took place outside the mall on May 11, police said.
CONROE,TX — A man who was wanted for a purse snatching at The Woodlands Mall in May, was arrested in Beaumont, officials said. Troy Damian Haynes, 28, was charged with aggravated robbery for an incident that took place outside the mall on May 11.
Police said the victim was shopping inside the mall, and was targeted by Haynes who waited until the victim was in the parking lot. As the victim was getting into her car, Haynes grabbed the woman’s purse, and began dragging her until she released the purse, according to Lt. Scott Spencer with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
The woman suffered several broken bones in the attack, officials said.

Haynes was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on Tuesday and is being held with bond set at $100,000. Spencer said the case is still under investigations an other arrests are possible.
