Man Charged With Intoxication Assault After Crashing Into Bus
Delwin Sonera, 39, of Spring, was charged with intoxication assault after he drove his car into the side of a Conroe ISD bus, police said.

THE WOODLANDS, TX β A 39-year-old Spring man who police said crashed his car into the side of a Conroe ISD school bus was charged with intoxication assault. The crash happened at about 9 p.m. Friday at Gosling Road and Research Forest Drive in The Woodlands, police said.
When Deputies arrived they learned that the Conroe ISD school bus was returning from a girls volleyball game when it was side swiped by a Volkswagen sedan. There were 35 people on the bus, which included two coaches.
Officials said at least seven of those onboard the bus suffered minor injuries.

Investigators with the Texas Department of Public Safety charged the driver, identified as Delwin Sonera of Spring, with intoxication assault. His woman who was a passenger in Sonera's car was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries.
He was taken to the Montgomery County Jail and later released on a $25,000 bond. Other charges against Sonera could be filed at a later date, officials said.
