Suspicious Package At Woodlands Mall Not A Threat

THE WOODLANDS, TX — Authorities were called to the scene of a suspicious package at the Woodlands Mall Saturday. Two stores were evacuated as a precaution.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office were notified to the suspicious package at 10:50 a.m. that had been left at the back of the mall at the loading docks.

After reviewing security footage, authorities found that a man dressed in all black had left a backpack. The backpack was found to not be a threat and only contained personal items.

Authorities are now leaving the scene and will continue their investigation elsewhere.
