Tomball Finance Director Announces Promotion Of Accountant
Finance Director Glenn Windsor said Kristin Kelly has an excellent knowledge of all of the City's different departments and expenditures.

TOMBALL, TX -- Kristin Kelly, who has served in the City of Tomball Finance Department since 2013, was recently promoted to Accountant, Finance Director Glenn Windsor announced Friday. Kristin is a graduate of Klein Oak High School and has been working in the Finance Department as an Accounting Assistant since August, 2013.
βKristin will be a great addition to our Finance team as an accountant,β Windsor said. βShe has already been working in the Finance Department for 5 years as an Accounting Assistant processing Accounts Payable where she pays all of the Cityβs invoices,β Windsor said.

Before she came to Tomball, Kristen worked several years in the private sector, primarily in the accounting division of an area health management company.
Her new responsibilities will include general accounting and reporting assignments as well as responsibilities in development of the Cityβs 2019-20 Annual Budget.

Windsor said Kristin has an excellent knowledge of all of the Cityβs different departments, their expenditures and the different funds that are included in the operation of the budget.
βThis experience has given her an excellent working knowledge of all of our vendors, the different funds, and our account structure. Additionally, she knows our system of controls involved in protecting the Cityβs resources such as the approval steps in processing a payment or receipt and which accounts are involved in all transactionsβ Windsor added.
Kristin is married to John Kelley and they have a son and daughter, Camden and Kaitlyn, and they are expecting their third child in October. In their free time they enjoy activities with their family, going to the beach, summer vacations, and getting together with friends.
