Uber Driver Who Picked Up Passengers At A Bar, Arrested For DWI

MAGNOLIA, TX — An Uber driver was arrested Wednesday night and charged with driving while intoxicated, according to deputy constables. Elizabeth Warren, 46, had just picked up several passengers from a bar in Conroe, when she seen driving erratically and was pulled over.

According to deputy constables, Warren, who was driving a 2012 Volkswagen, was seen drifting out of their lane multiple times and was speeding in traffic.

The deputy pulled her over, and she identified herself as Elizabeth Warren from Conroe, and said that she was an Uber driver picking up passengers.

Warren had just picked up three passengers from the Golden Retriever Pub on FM 1488, according to deputies. The deputies said they could smell a strong odor of alcohol coming from Elizabeth’s breath and had her step out of her vehicle for a field sobriety test.

Elizabeth Warren failed her field sobriety test. After performing poorly on the sobriety test deputies said Warren became uncooperative and told the deputies to just put her in jail.

After refusing to submit to a voluntary blood draw, deputies obtained a warrant, and she provided a sample of her blood.

Warren was arrested for DWI, a class B misdemeanor and was taken to the Montgomery County Jail and released to Jail staff. She was later released on a $600 bond.
