The Woodlands Hosting First Ever Pride Parade This Fall
It's not a city just yet, but The Woodlands is big and diverse enough now to have it's own pride event.
THE WOODLANDS, TX — The Woodlands Pride will be hosting the first ever Pride event in The Woodlands Township. The Pride Festival will be held at Town Green Park on Sept. 8, 2018.
The Woodlands Pride is nonprofit organization with a mission to connect, celebrate, educate and foster relationships in the LGBTQIA community while promoting equality, unity, and love in The Woodlands and beyond.
Officials with The Woodlands Pride told the Houston Chronicle they were working closely with The Woodlands Township to lay the groundwork for the event, and extend an invitation to everyone to come out on Sept. 8.
