The Woodlands Offers Day Camps For Kids Of All Interests
The Woodlands Parks and Rec Department has camps for kids 6 to 15 -years-old, that provide a host of interesting activities this summer.
THE WOODLANDS, TX β Summer is in full swing, and if the kids have become thoroughly bored The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation is offering camps for young children and teens.
The Sunny Dayz Day Camps for kids ages 6 to 12-years-old, are happening now at two locations in The Woodlands:
- The Recreation Center at Bear Branch Park, 5310 Research Forest Drive
- The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park, 6464 Creekside Forest Drive
Sunny Dayz Day Camp are full day camps and take place between 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and offering a variety of fun activities including:

- crafts
- games
- activities

Check out the complete schedule of activities here. Teen Camp is also underway for campers ages 13 to 15 at The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park.
Teens can disconnect from their electronic devices and have fun with visits to Texas TreeVentures adventure course, archery, kayaking, field trips and more. The complete schedule for Teen Camp is available here.

If your child is interested in STEM, the parks and recreation department has something for them too, and offers a variety of specialty camps, including engineering, robotics, technology and science camps for kids with an interest in STEM.
Soccer, baseball, golf and outdoor survival camps are available for kids who enjoy the great outdoors. Art and cooking camps are open for those looking to use their creative sides.
