Alfredo Andrews Elementary Goes Virtual Learning Sept. 29-Oct. 1
Students and staff will revert to virtual classes from Wednesday, Sept 29 through Friday, October 1 due to a COVID-19 exposure.
ST. CROIX — The Alfredo Andrews Elementary School in St. Croix will return to virtual learning from Sept. 29-Oct. 1 due to a recent COVID-19 exposure on the campus. Two positive cases were confirmed over the weekend and two more cases were confirmed on Sept. 28.
The Department of Health will conduct drive-through COVID-19 testing for students and teachers in the exposed classrooms on Friday, October 1 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Testing will be at the front entrance of the school.
During the campus closure, students may pick up breakfast and lunch between the hours of 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the John H. Woodson Jr. High School. School bus service to and from Alfredo Andrews will be suspended during the closure.
