Body Found In Bushes In Smith Bay Is Confirmed Homicide
Based on the results of the autopsy, police say the victim's death has been ruled a homicide.
U.S VIRGIN ISLANDS — Human remains found in the bushes near a residence in Smith Bay are the result of a homicide, say police. The Virgin Islands Police Department ordered an autopsy performed after a resident alerted them to the presence of a body on September 17. The results of the autopsy indicate foul play.
Police will not release the name of the victim until they notify the next of kin.
