π± Covid Cases Down, But Read About Long Covid + Events This Week

Good morning, let's get started with the headlines. And if you're looking for something to do this week, don't miss the weekly events schedule.
- COVID-19 cases are down across the territory. Dr. Esther Ellis, territory epidemiologist announced 250 new cases this week, down from 324 one week ago. There are 141 active cases in St. Croix, 99 cases in St. Thomas and 10 cases in St. John. Via The Source.
- A St. Croix man has been sentenced to 120 months in prison and 15 years of supervised release after pleading guilty to transporting a minor with the intent to engage in criminal sexual activity. Full story in the VI Consortium.VI Consortium.
- Have you heard of long-haul COVID? The Source interviewed Conn Davis, who grew up on St. Thomas, about his ongoing symptoms after contracting COVID-19 in early 2020. Davis is honest about how lingering and hard-to-treat symptoms have impacted his life.
