DHS Closes Mars Hill SNAP and Medicaid Offices Due To COVID-19
DHS is closing its offices on St. Croix due to a staff member testing positive for COVID-19. The office will re-open on Wednesday.

U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS — The Virgin Islands Department of Human Services (DHS), confirmed that staff member has tested positive for COVID-19. In response, DHS is closing the Mars Hill SNAP and Medicaid Offices in St. Croix on Monday, July 19 and Tuesday, July 20, 2021.
DHS will activate the COVID-19 mitigation protocols and clean the facility while it is closed. DHS is also working with the Department of Health to ensure contact tracing and staff members have been referred to Pop-Up testing sites.
The St. Croix SNAP and Medicaid offices will re-open on Wednesday, July 21, 2021.
