DPNR: This Week's Beach Advisory
The Beach Water Quality Monitoring Program evaluated water quality at 15 beaches on St. Croix.

U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS — The Department of Planning and Natural Resources (DPNR) performed water quality analysis at 15 designated beaches throughout the Territory during the week of July 26, – July 30, 2021.
Beaches on St. Thomas, St. John and Water Island were not sampled this week due to Covid-19. Additionally, the following beaches on St. Croix were not sampled: Gentle Winds, Columbus Landing and Grapetree Bay
The following beaches meet water quality standards and are considered safe for swimming and fishing:

The Beach Water Quality Monitoring Program evaluates water quality at popular swimming beaches throughout the Territory by sampling for Enterococci and Bacteria. The program also tracks turbidity, which is a measure of water clarity.
