DPNR: This Week's Beach Advisory
All 31 beaches tested are considered safe for swimming or fishing.

U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS — The Department of Planning and Natural Resources (DPNR) performed water quality analysis at the following 31 beaches throughout the Territory during the week of August 2, – August 6, 2021. All 31 beaches tested are considered safe for swimming or fishing.

- Shoy’s Beach
- Halfpenny Beach
- Protestant Cay
- Frederiksted Public Beach
- Cramer’s Park

The Beach Water Quality Monitoring Program evaluates weekly water quality at popular swimming beaches throughout the Territory by sampling for Enterococci, Bacteria and Turbidity, which is a measure of water clarity.
