Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp Are Down: Here's What to Know
Here's what you need to know about the outage.

U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS — Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp went down just before noon on Monday. All three apps are owned by Facebook and the outage is affecting more than 98,000 customers around the world.
Facebook addressed the outage via a tweet, saying "We're aware that some people are having trouble accessing our apps and products. We're working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience."
They did not comment on what caused the outage.
