Man Struck By Pickup Truck Near Nisky Center, Dies

A 62-year-old man was crossing the street after leaving the shopping center when he was hit by a pickup truck. He died from his injuries.

ST. THOMAS, USVI — A 62-year-old man was crossing the street near the Nisky Shopping Center on July when he was struck and killed by a passing vehicle.

According to the police report, a blue 2021 GMC Sierra pickup truck, traveling north, hit the victim as he was walking away from the shopping center. The victim was taken to the Roy Lester Schneider Regional Medical Center but he died from his injuries.

The identity of the pedestrian is being withheld, pending notification of next of kin.
