Nine Injured In Car Collision Near Lockhart Gardens
A Toyota Camry lost control and slammed into a safari truck.

ST. THOMAS, USVI — A Toyota Camry lost control while traveling north on Rumer Drive Monday evening and drove into a red Ford safari truck, sending nine victims to the hospital. The Camry was traveling north and lost control when it veered into oncoming traffic and collided with the safari truck, according to Police Spokesman Toby Derima.
The Camry had three passengers and the safari was carrying six passengers. All nine individuals were injured and required medical attention at the Roy Lester Schneider Regional Medical Center. They were all listed in stable condition.
This case is under investigation by the VIPD Traffic Investigation Bureau.
