Police: Man Arrested And Charged With Rape And Child Abuse

U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS — According to the VIPD, on October 6, police arrested Mackeem Appleton of Contant Knolls and charged him with second degree rape, delinquincy of a minor, child abuse, unlawful sexual contact, second degree aggravated rape, and prohibition of visual medium depicting sexually explicit conduct.

Appleton, age 28, is accused of sexually assaulting a female minor on July 1 at his residence. He was turned over to the custody of the Bureau of Corrections after failing to post $100,000 bail, pending his advice of rights hearing.
