Potential Tropical Storm "Seven" To Hit USVI Sunday Afternoon

Forecasters predict the system will reach the U.S. Virgin Islands on Sunday. Expect heavy rain.

U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS — The National Hurricane Center is tracking potential tropical cyclone "Seven" as it makes its way towards the Leeward Islands.

According to the NHC, the system may become a tropical storm but the time it reaches the U.S. Virgin Islands on Sunday afternoon. Forecasters are not currently predicting strong winds in our region, but they are calling for heavy rains.
