Shooting In Broad Daylight In Savan On Monday, Say Police

Suspects fired multiple shots at the victim, hitting him in the foot.

ST. THOMAS, USVI — Police are investigating a shooting earlier today that sent one victim to the hospital with a gunshot wound in his foot.

The victim, a 28-year-old man, told officers that he was in Savan on Monday when he was approached by what appeared to be two passengers driving a gray vehicle. The suspects fired multiple shots at the victim, who was hit in the foot. The suspects then left the area heading west on Kronprindsens Gade.

The victim told police that he has no knowledge of who shot him or why he may have been targeted. He was treated at Roy Lester Schneider Regional Medical Center.
