VI Championship Road Race Rescheduled For August 22
The VI Championship Road Race, postponed due to Tropical Storm Grace, will now happen on Sunday, Aug 22 on St. Croix.
U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS — The VI Championship Road Race, originally scheduled for August 15, will now take place this coming Sunday, August 22.
The race was postponed once it became clear that St. Croix was in the direct path of Tropical Storm Grace. The new date promises better conditions.
The race will feature four distances: 15 miles, 30 miles, 40 miles and 51 miles. All courses start from the parking lot at the former Café Kaleidoscope on Southside Road.

Race-day registration will be held from 6:15-6:45 a.m. at the former Cafe Kaleidoscope .
Helmets must be worn in order to participate. Additionally, under V.I. Health Department guidelines, all participants must wear face coverings at all times except when racing.
