VI Cycling Federation Hosts Road Race On Sunday
Join the Virgin Islands Cycling Federation this Sunday, July 25, for Donald's Challenge Road Race.

ST. CROIX, USVI —This Sunday, July 25, join the Virgin Islands Cycling Federation at the Donald’s Challenge Road Race on St. Croix.
The VICF has hosted the race annually since 2017 to commemorate St. Croix cyclist Donald Christian.
The race starts at 7 a.m. and on-site registration will be open from 6:15-6:45 a.m. All levels of skill are welcome and participants can choose between three different levels of difficulty:
Elite: 6 laps (42 miles)
Expert: 4 laps (24 miles)
Sport/Masters/Women: 2 laps (14 miles)
Juniors: 1 lap (7 miles).

The course starts and finishes at the entrance pillars to Ha’ penny Beach, on St. Croix’s Southside Road. According to the VICF website, the 7-mile lap course takes e cyclists from the entrance to Ha’ penny, head west to Cane Garden, turn around and head east to Castle Nugent, turn around and head back to Ha’ penny.
Helmets are required.

All attendees must wear a face covering before and after the race and are asked to maintain a 6-foot distance from others. Check out the VICF Facebook page for more information and updates.
