VIPD Mars Hill Location Will Reopen Wednesday 10/4

The VIPD Operations and Administrative Services building in Mars Hill will reopen after being shut down due to a mold issue.

The VIPD has a trained and Certified Air Systems Cleaning Specialist, Certified Ventilation Inspector and Ventilation Systems Mold Remediator who has conducted and completed an assessment of the building.

ST. CROIX, USVI — The Virgin Islands Police Department’s Operations and Administrative Services building in Mars Hill, Frederiksted will reopen for normal in-person business hours at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 6. The following services will once again be accessible on-site: Records Bureau, Firearms Bureau, Permits, Police Pavilion rental, and more.

The building has been closed since September 20, 2021, due to mold.

If you need to file a police report in Frederiksted before October 6, you may continue to do so at the VIPD Frederiksted Bike Unit Substation located at #1 Strand Street (between Kentucky Fried Chicken and the UCA Building). The Records Bureau will continue to accept requests for police records and police reports via email at stxvipdrecordsrequest@usvi.onmicrosoft.com.
