VIPD: Police Arrest St. John Man Connected To Sept. 16 Shooting

ST. JOHN, USVI — On October 21, police arrested Ezius M. Ashly in connection with a shooting incident that occurred in Susannaborg on September 16, according to a Virgin Islands Police Department press release.

Police say they observed Ashly on video surveillance as a suspect in the shooting.

Ashly, age 21 of Calabash Boom, faces multiple charges including second-degree attempted murder.

Ashly was turned over to the custody of the Bureau of Corrections after failing to post $200,000 bail, pending his Advice of Rights hearing.
