VIPD: St. Croix Man Arrested Due To Relationship With Minor
Police say a St. Croix man has been charged with aggravated rape after an investigation revealed he was dating a 15-year-old girl.

ST. CROIX, USVI — Virgin Islands Police Department detectives arrested Jacoy Q. Kentish on Tuesday and charged him with second-degree aggravated rape, domestic violence.
"The investigation revealed that Kentish was in a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old female, in violation of local statutes regarding the minor’s age of consent," said polish spokesman Toby Derima.
Kentish, age 20 of Campo Rico, was turned over to the custody of the Bureau of Corrections without bail, as per the territory’s domestic violence laws, pending his Advice of Rights hearing.
