VIPD: Two St. Croix Men Charged With Domestic Assault
The VIPD says that two young men were arrested for separate domestic assault incidents.
ST. CROIX, USVI — On August 27, police say they arrested two St. Croix men for separate incidents of domestic assaults.
Nickson T. Felicien, age 25 of Estate Whim, was arrested after his partner, a woman, reported that he assaulted her on July 2, according to a statement from the Virgin Islands Police Department. Felicien evaded capture until last week. He was ultimately charged with second-degree assault, domestic violence and simple assault and battery, and domestic violence.
Felicien was not granted bail, per the territory’s domestic violence statutes. He was placed in the custody of the Bureau of Corrections pending his Advice of Rights hearing.

On the same day, police arrested 19-year-old Annquan J. Wilkes of Harbor View Apartments and charged him with second-degree assault, domestic violence and simple assault and battery, and domestic violence. V.I. Police Spokesman said, "Wilkes admitted to assaulting an elderly family member on August 26."
Wilkes was jailed without bail pending his Advice of Rights hearing.
