WAPA: Customers On St. Croix Feeder 10A To Lose Power Saturday

Customers on St. Croix feeder 10A will lose power for several hours on Saturday morning as WAPA does scheduled maintenance.

U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS — The Water and Power Authority released an alert on Friday, July 23 that approximately 130 customers on a section of St. Croix Feeder 10A will experience an electrical service interruption from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 24.

According to the statement, "the scheduled outage is necessary to allow Line Department crews to perform tree trimming service and make required repairs to primary service lines in the rainforest area."

Areas affected by the planned service interruption include Anally, Brooks Hill, Hard Labor, Jolly Hill, La Grange, Little La Grange, Montpellier, Mount Victory, Nicholas, North Hall, Orange Grove Frederiksted, Oxford, Pleasant Valley, Prosperity, Springfield and Two Friends.
