WAPA: Electric Down For Many On St. Thomas

WAPA acknowledged an ectrical service interruption affecting customers on a portion of Feeder 7B.

ST. THOMAS, USVI — The V.I. Water and Power Authority announced that many customers on St. Thomas will not have electrical service due to burning service lines and tree branches along Weymouth Rhymer Highway. Customers affected are on a specific portion of Feeder 7B.

According to the WAPA alert, "the outage is necessary to address the impacted lines. Efforts are underway to restore service to all affected customers."
