The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority announced that a major electrical service interruption is affecting all of St. Croix.

ST. CROIX, USVI — At approximately 9 a.m. Saturday morning, the lights went out on St. Croix. The V.I. Water and Power authority says that the interruption in electrical service is due to "the loss of generation capacity at the Estate Richmond Power Plant."
