Hackers Breached Voter Data In 2016 Election: Report
According to Time, hackers were able to successfully alter voter data in at least one known instance.

WASHINGTON, DC — Hackers targeting the 2016 election successfully altered voter data and stole personal information from thousands of citizens in a much more extensive cyberattack effort than has previously been revealed, according to a report from Time citing anonymous officials.
One county reportedly discovered that some of its voter information had been altered, but it was able to repair the damage. Time reports that some of the stolen data included partial social security numbers. Sources were not able to confirm to the magazine whether or not the hackers in question were connected to the Russian government, which the American intelligence chiefs say spearheaded a large effort to influence the 2016 election.
