Post Office Dilemma A 'Manufactured Stunt,' Press Secretary Says
The White House press secretary said the United States Post Office has enough funding until 2021.

WASHINGTON, DC — White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany said talk about funding of the United States Post Office is "a manufactured crisis" that's the work of Democrats on Capitol Hill.
"The concerns of everyday Americans were not the concern of Democrats on Capitol Hill," McEnany said during a Wednesday afternoon news briefing. "It's sad but it's clear what the Democrats' priorities are."
The press secretary said the Post Office has enough funding through 2021, and that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's "rush" back to Capitol Hill was not necessary.

The press secretary's address comes as President Donald Trump has largely spent the week away from Washington, D.C. and as the Democratic National Convention takes shape in a virtual format from Milwaukee.
Trump was expected to address reporters from the White House at 5:30 p.m. that night, however.
