Livestream: President Trump Holds 'Positive Policing' Roundtable
President Donald Trump's Monday schedule includes a roundtable discussion with "stakeholders positively impacted by law enforcement."
WASHINGTON, DC — President Donald Trump planned to meet Monday with "stakeholders positively impacted by law enforcement."
The roundtable discussion, scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time, comes amid continued protests by Black Lives Matter and other activists to bring about a reckoning of police use-of-force tactics, particularly as they are used to detain Black suspects.
Those participating in the discussion are expected to focus on positive interactions between police and communities, and address ways to improve community relations with police across the country.
