President Trump And The Senators: White House Schedule Aug. 2

Here's what's on the president's docket for the day ahead.

WASHINGTON, DC — President Trump will receive his daily intelligence briefing at 10:30 a.m. Eastern.

At 11:30, he will make an announcement with Republican Sen. Tom Cotton of Arkansas and Republican Sen. David Perdue of Georgia in the Roosevelt Room.

At 2 p.m., Trump will meet privately with Republican Sen. Rob Portman of Ohio in the Oval Office.

Vice President Pence continues his trip abroad.

At 9:15 a.m. local time, Pence will meet the staff at the U.S. embassy in Podgorica, Montenegro. At 10 a.m., he will meet with Prime Minister Duško Marković of Montenegro.

The vice president will later appear at the Adriatic Charter Summit, where he will deliver public remarks at 1 p.m. He will then formally greet leaders of the Western Balkans.

At 3 p.m., Pence will attend the Adriatic Charter Summit Plenary Session.

At 5 p.m., Pence and his team will leave Montenegro. They are expected to arrive in Clare, Ireland, to refuel at 8:05 p.m. local time. They will leave at 9:45 and arrive back in Washington, D.C. at midnight Eastern.
