President Trump Takes A Vacation: White House Schedule Aug. 4

Here's what's on the docket for the Friday before the president's 17-day vacation.

WASHINGTON, DC — President Trump hits the road Friday as he sets off for a 17-day vacation while the White House undergoes renovations.

At 10 a.m. Eastern, Trump will be briefed at FEMA headquarters about hurricane season and the agency's preparedness. He'll leave the headquarters around 10:55.

At 12:30, the president and the vice president will have lunch in the private White House dining room.

French President Emmanuel Macron will speak to Trump on the phone at 1:30 p.m.

Trump will leave the White House at 3:45 for Joint Base Andrews, where he will depart at 4:05 for Morristown, New Jersey; he's expected to land at 4:55.

Trump is expected to arrive at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, at 5:20
