Sarah Huckabee Sanders Says Trump Thought Scaramucci's Comments Were 'Inapproriate'
The White House press secretary delivered a briefing just an hour after it was announced that the communications director was ousted.

WASHINGTON, DC — White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders defended the administration at the daily briefing Monday, denying reports that the presidency is in chaos. Just an hour before the briefing was set to take place, it was revealed that new Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci had been dismissed from his role.
Scaramucci's hire just about 10 days ago prompted the resignation of then-Press Secretary Sean Spicer, and in move that likely contributed to his own dismissal, Scaramucci gave a series of profane comments to a New Yorker reporter in the middle of last week. The administration has also been troubled by a series of failed attempts to reform Obamacare failed on the Senate floor, Trump's continued rift with the attorney general and the former White House chief of staff was ouster from his position at the end of the week.

Sanders said that Scaramucci does not currently have any position in the White House, closing an open question about whether or not he might be moved into another role. She would not give a detailed account of why Scaramucci was pushed out. She said that Trump found Scaramucci's recent comments to the New Yorker "inappropriate."
Asked how she would respond to assertions that the White House is in chaos, Sanders said that real chaos occurs when she tries to get her kids ready in the morning.

One reporter asked how the White House explains that so many people have been fired or resigned under Trump's short tenure.
"We're focused on creating jobs outside this building," she said.
She also said that Trump has 100 percent confidence in the Cabinet.
