Aaron Lorenz, Neighbor

As a husband, father, and 13-year resident of Oakland, I’ve dedicated my professional career to supporting education. I’m currently the Dean of the School of Social Science and Human Services at Ramapo College, overseeing critical educational programs and providing leadership to both faculty and students.

My 30 years in higher education, including the oversight of graduate programs in Special Education, Educational Leadership, and Instructional Design, has prepared me to be a strong voice for students, teachers, and families on the Board of Education.

In 2021, I was honored to be elected to the Ramapo Indian Hills Board of Education, where I have consistently fought for fiscal responsibility, transparency, and educational excellence. I’m running for re-election because our district needs experienced leadership to get back on track and put students first.
