Action Sertoma, Neighbor

Action Sertoma is a NFP 501(c)(3) Organization and was chartered on November 11, 1967 as a club to raise funds to help those in need. In 1971, Action Sertoma (originally chartered as Alsip Sertoma) was instrumental along with the Evergreen and POW-R Sertoma Clubs in establishing Sertoma Star (previously named Sertoma Centre) and the Sertoma Speech and Hearing Center.

In addition to supporting Sertoma Star and the Sertoma Speech and Hearing Center, we also support Alsip Scholarship Fund, Alicia’s House, Chicago Charity, Chicago Police Memorial Foundation, Chicago Lawn Sertoma, Crisis Center of South Suburbia, Cruise for a Cause, Forever U, Frankfort Lions Club, Hickory Hills Sertoma, Homewood Rotary Foundation, Jenny’s Make a Wish, JDRF, Lemont United Sertoma, Lori’s Voice, Midwest BBQ for the Brave, New Lenox Rotary Charities, New Star, Open Access, Pack The Place for Pat, POW-R Sertoma, Reclaim 13, Respond Now, St. Damians Men’s Club, St. Anthony, The Lazy Volunteer, The Ray Vanco Children’s Foundation, Tinley Park Sertoma, Together We Cope, and to many more for those who are less fortunate than ourselves.
