I grew up in West De Pere, Wisconsin, a suburb just outside of Green Bay. While attending the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for journalism, I dived into various media outlets through internships at print newspapers, Milwaukee Public Radio and WISN-TV. I later freelanced for Patch in Milwaukee while working part time at the TV station post-internship. After graduating, I landed a full-time job with Patch as an editor outside of Milwaukee, and when the company announced new opportunities in Chicago, I jumped on the chance to live in Lake View. It finally feels good to call my favorite community in the world home!
