You’ll learn essential techniques for handling the tufting gun safely and effectively, focusing entirely on mastering the craft since your design and yarn colors will already be prepared on the tufting frame. Once tufting is complete, you’ll discover how to apply glue and backing to secure and protect your rug. The class finishes with the exciting step of trimming excess yarn, revealing the final texture and look of your handmade rug. This hands-on experience combines creativity with practical skills to help you craft a unique, personalized piece.

Join us and learn basic sewing and design techniques to update your wardrobe to match your gender identity and style! Learning to sew is a great life skill to have, you can make your own repairs and adjustments, as well as repurpose old clothes to turn them into one of a kind fashion. No sewing experience necessary. Bring one piece of clothing you would like to upcycle. If you have a sewing machine or sewing needles and materials from home you want to use you are welcome to bring in and use during this session. We will have some sewing materials and tools on hand for you to use and get creative. This event is in partnership with Out Montclair. What you will be using in class: Participants will be using a needle, thread, fabric notions, embellishments, and fabric shears to transform their clothing item into a new piece of fun fashion. What you need to bring: Participants need to bring in one piece of clothing from home – a shirt, a pair of pants, a shirt, or other clothing item. What you will make and take home: One upcycled piece of clothing you redesigned.

Unlock your crafting potential in this hands-on Cricut Basics Workshop! You’ll learn the fundamentals of operating a Cricut cutting machine, focusing on creating custom stickers and personalized vinyl decals. We’ll start with a print-and-cut demonstration for stickers. Next, gain hands-on experience with vinyl: watch the machine cut, then practice weeding (peeling) and applying the transfer sheet to create your own custom decal. This is the perfect opportunity to learn a new hobby or be inspired to start your own home business.

Adventurers! Join us for a fun and fantastical one shot D&amp;D campaign. We embrace the quirky, the chaotic, and the downright silly. Expect unexpected twists and hilarious roleplaying moments. Whether you’re a seasoned adventurer or a curious newcomer, come join the fun! No experience is necessary, and we welcome players of all skill levels. If you need help with making a character, our friendly DM will happily work with you to create your own character sheet or provide you a premade one. We’re all about having a good laugh and creating unforgettable memories together. Players aged 16 and up are welcome to play. This is a safe space for all, including LGBTQIA+ and Neurodiverse folk.
What you will be using: Participants will be using character sheets, and character models.
What you should bring: Participants will need to bring their own dice (or can purchase dice at the store for 15% off), bring their own snacks and drinks (if they wish to have some munchies), and are encouraged to bring their own models if they have them.
Upon sign up: Participants will be sent a discord invite and a consent form to fill out.
