As a journalism student at UCLA, I’m passionate about storytelling that serves local communities. Westwood’s vibrant culture, campus events, and neighborhood issues deserve a dedicated voice. I want to use Patch to highlight hyperlocal stories - from small businesses to student initiatives - while practicing the kind of grassroots reporting that strengthens civic engagement.
